2013 LCRI IN – HOUSE REVIEW MEETING AND NORTH EAST ZONAL REFILS WORKSHOP

T

he LCRI In – house review meeting and North East Zonal REFILS workshop is an annual event in the institute that combines two important occasions. The In-house Review Meeting is a forum for discussing the highlights of research activities carried out in the Institute in the preceding season and the proposals for the new season. The REFILS workshop is aimed at reviewing the highlights of extension activities carried out in 2012 by the Agricultural Development Programmes (ADPs) in the Zone in collaboration with Research Institutes, Government Agencies, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) as well as articulating the proposals for the 2013 farming season.         The meeting and the workshop brought together Research Scientists, Extensionists, Policy Makers, NGOs, Input Agencies and Farmer’s group and discussed ways of improving technology generation and transfer within the North-East Zone.
